Examples of good lighting in the High Country Back to Good Lighting page Webmaster Page updated April 17, 2002		The lighting being installed at the new First Citizens Bank on the Highway 105 Extension in Boone looks promising. The full cutoff fixtures used will shine only down, protecting the night sky. I'll add a night shot when it is complete. Let's hope the do not add any nasty flood lights!
	This is quite a contrast compared to other recent branch bank projects that used flood lights (that in fact spoiled the good lighting of the shopping centers they are next to.) Congratulatios, First Cititzens, on providing safe and sky-friendly lighting!
