The International Dark-Sky Assoication (IDA) is the aain group fighting light pollution. Their site contains many resources, information sheets, and further links.
The North Carolina Section of the IDA is concerned with light pollution in our own state, as well as in South Carolina.
The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America is the ANSI standards organization for lighting.
GE Lighting Systems makes most of GE's outdoor lighting fixtures. They are located in our state, in Hendersonville.
